  Exceptional!

Everything about the house is outstanding.  The facilities and quality of everything is impressive, along with the location and fantastic views across to Skye and the mainland.  And the welcome pack is very much appreciated!

The house has a real Wow factor, both externally and internally.  Inside, the entrance and ground floor bathrooms and bedrooms are great and taking the staircase to the amazing, massive open plan kitchen/dining/living space with the views to match is jaw dropping .  The kitchen has everything needed for 6 guests, more than enough for the 2 of us.  Everything goes so well together and makes a stay comfortable and special.

Outside, the provision of e-bikes is welcome as the roads are undulating but great for riding and stopping off at the many little inlets with their wildlife.  The weather wasn’t the best for our stay, so didn’t get to use the hot tub, nor pizza oven.

The location is also perfect, within 30 minute drive of the incredible beaches with turquoise waters on the west coast, the eagle observatory, the historical churches, brochs, standing stones, etc.  There are numerous hills to walk up, with spectacular views down the coast and deep into the surprisingly mountainous Clisham area.

The circular drive down to Rodel, along to Leverburgh, Northton, Borve, Seilebost, Luskentyre, Tarbert and home is a fantastic day trip, taking in stunning beaches, hills and rugged landscapes.

Communication is excellent, the information pack with recommendations is comprehensive and instructions for entering the house are clear and timely.

This isn’t just a holiday rental, it’s so much more than that!

  We were lucky enough to be Steven and Laura’s first booking at Baile An Or and so everything was brand new including the house itself. And what a house! The views are stunning, it’s fantastically well-equipped and it’s a wonderful place to be in all weathers. If I was Steven or Laura, I wouldn’t want to share it with anyone else so we are incredibly fortunate that they are happy to share what they’ve created with other people.
